You can proceed by opening the pot and carefully stirring the glue with your applicator to mix in the Microdots that may have settled on the bottom of the pot.
Make sure you have the desired amount of Microdots on your applicator and transfer them onto the area you prepared.
3 to 5 Microdots are more than sufficient. You may wish to repeat this step on several places of your item, depending on its size and the frequency of exposing the item to light, weather conditions, touch, or friction.
Allow the glue to dry before clipping on the Microscope to the camera of your smartphone.
Open your camera and point the microscope onto the Microdots on your item. Zoom in to enlarge it and take a screenshot for proof of ownership and to submit into the database, when registering your item.
You can repeat this step, every time you need to prove ownership.
For theft prevention, apply a warning sticker on the item in plain view.
Potential thieves look for easy marks and very often the warning will put them off.
